Diarize Me allows you to add leave, or breaks in your day that don't get recorded as appointments. For example, if you want to schedule a lunch hour every day, or go on leave for a week. We call these 'close outs'.

A close out will appear in your calendar as a red block so that staff know not to book appointments during that time. Clients will not be able to book online during these times either. They will see you as fully booked during a close out period.

You can create a close out directly from the calendar, or from the Hours and Scheduling section.

From the calendar:

Right click on the calendar, or click on the '+' icon on the top left of the screen, and click on 'New Close Out':

Choose the staff member, the close out reason, the time period, whether the close out repeats or not, and click on 'Create Close Out':

The close out can be dragged like a regular appointment, or clicked on to cancel it.

From Hours & Scheduling:

From the dashboard, click on 'My Business' and then on 'Hours & Scheduling':

Scroll to 'Close Outs' and click on 'Add Close Out'. Like before, choose the staff member (or select 'All Staff' if your business is closing for a holiday period), specify a reason, the date range, and whether this repeats or not and click on 'Add Close Out':
