If you are using an external platform such as QContact or online bookings with specific slots, you will need to create slots before they become visible for bookings.

From the dashboard, click on 'My Business->Hours & Scheduling':

Click on 'Schedule Staff':

Click on 'Scheduling Options' and then on 'Create Booking Slot':

You have the option to either book a single slot between specific times, or have Diarise Me create slots at pre-defined intervals between a time period.

Option 1 - A single slot between a specific time:

  1. Choose the date and time of the slot.

  2. Specify how many slots you want to create for this time.

  3. Choose which staff members. If selecting multiple staff, ensure that the number of slots is sufficient (1 each, 2 each, etc).

  4. Specify whether the slot recurs or not. You can have it recur every weekday (Monday-Friday), every day (Monday-Sunday), every week, or every month. You can also specify how long it should recur for. The maximum is 3 months into the future at a time.

  5. Click on 'Create Booking Slots'.

Option 2 - Slots at set intervals within a time period:

  1. Toggle the 'Fill Day Slots?' to 'enabled'.

  2. Choose the date and time range of the slots. Slots will be created between these 2 times.

  3. Specify the duration of each slot.

  4. Choose which staff members the slots should be created for.

  5. Specify whether the slot recurs or not. You can have it recur every weekday (Monday-Friday), every day (Monday-Sunday), every week, or every month. You can also specify how long it should recur for. The maximum is 3 months into the future at a time.

  6. Click on 'Create Booking Slots'.

The slots that appear here and on the calendar will appear as bookable slots.

Note: This only applies to clients using manual slot booking instead of the default availability in the calendar and service duration.
