SnapScan is a way to accept payments from your clients through their SnapScan app. A client would typically load their card onto their SnapScan profile which allows them to scan a QR code that charges their card. This allows for payments without the need to capture card information.

This means that if you are a SnapScan customer, you are able to enable the Diarize Me/ SnapScan integration and allow your customer to pay for online bookings, invoices, gift vouchers, and online retail via your SnapScan account.

The high-level process is as follows:

  1. The customer arrives on your Diarize Me Online web page or receives an invoice sent via the Diarize Me console.

  2. They choose whether to book an appointment, buy a voucher, or shop your retail products.

  3. Once they have made a selection, they are shown how much they need to pay and presented with the SnapScan QR Code which can be tapped on, or scanned by their phone.

  4. SnapScan processes the payment and lets Diarize Me know whether it was successful or not.

  5. Diarize Me completes the order and sends you and the customer a payment receipt and confirmation of the booking/voucher/retail order.

  6. This appears automatically in your Diarize Me console and appears as a 'SnapScan' payment in your cash up report and payments report. The payment is also visible in your SnapScan console.

Diarize Me does not charge you for online payments, but you can find out more about the SnapScan pricing here.
